Mini market & Drug Store
Store hours are: Monday - Saturday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
They sell everything from groceries, meat, vegetables,
fruits, drinking water to cosmetics, medicines and other
household articles. It is recommended to make a trip to
Marsh Harbour within the first few days. |

Convienence Store
Opens early and closes late at night. It is also open on
Sundays. Besides medicines they sell drinking water, bread,
and other food items. |

Liquor Store
Monday - Saturday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
All alcoholic beverages can be purchased duty free. |

Fresh fish
Can be purchased fresh daily by either
- Waiting at the harbour
until the fishermen come back.
- Charter a fishing tour with Richs’s Rental or JIC

Visit the Marina Store or Triple J Car Rental for gift items such as postcards, jewelry and clothing. Abaco Ceramics is just a golf cart ride away and you will find beautiful, locally made ceramic pieces - their work
is sold all over the islands but made in Treasure Cay. |

is open Monday- Friday 9:00 am-12:00N & 2:00 pm-4:00pm. |

Things To Do On Abaco
There are many options for
day trips around the island.
Rent a Car - Car Rental is available at Triple
J. Remember to drive on the left-hand side in the
Bahamas.
Drive to Marsh Harbour for lunch or
dinner. There are many dining choices available.
We recommend trying Wallys or Mangoes.
Take a shopping trip to Marsh Harbour - You may want to visit
Abaco Gold, Solomon's Mines, Iggy Biggy, or enjoy a cup of coffee
at Java.
Explore the Island - It is approximately 120 miles from North to South.
Island Hopping
Take a ferry to Green Turtle Cay from the Treasure Cay ferry dock, just a short
taxi ride from Treasure Cay. You may want to eat at The Green Turtle Club or The Bluff House,
rent a golf cart and explore the island, or stroll around the historic New Plymouth.
While there, stop at Miss Emily's Blue Bee Bar, the "Mother of the Goombay Smash!"
Take a ferry to Guana Cay from the Treasure Cay Marina. Guana Cay is home to
"Nippers"
Bar and Grill which overlooks the beautiful Atlantic Ocean and pink
sand beach.
Rent a boat at Treasure Cay Marina. Keep in mind the shoals, sandbars and reef can be tricky for
an inexperienced boater.
Charter a guide at Treasure Cay Marina for a day of fishing, snorkeling or diving.
Ferries are available to Hope Town from Marsh Harbour. You will definitely want to visit the famous
candy striped light house. Additionally, there are many great restaurants around Hope Town such as
Capn' Jacks, Abaco Inn, and Harbor's Edge.
Beach Combing - Enjoy a walk along the 3-1/2 mile long beach in Treasure Cay or go to the
"point" at low tide.
